The 75-year-old grandmother fought with the man who attacked her for an unknown reason. What the grandmother did, she saw a piece of wood and hit the man who attacked her.

The 75-year-old Chinese national name is Xiao Zhen Xie, while the name of the man who attacked her is Steven Jenkins. Being able to defend herself doesn’t mean she was okay. She is still suffering her eye injury and in terror. This is not the first time that Jenkins has hurt particularly the elderly and all Asians.

According to CNN, an 83-year-old man was the first to be hit by Jenkins. Both were taken to the hospital for proper treatment.

The case continues to be investigated especially and the attacks are said to be worsening particularly on Asian-Americans in the United States.

Xiao Zhen Xie, 76, says she was just waiting at the traffic light when the suspect, that’s the guy handcuffed to the stretcher here, punched her by her left eye. She sent him to the hospital in an ambulance. Her cries at the end of this video are heartbreaking, said Hend Amry.
