Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto tests negative for COVID-19 after his driver died due to the disease. In a tweet, Sotto thanked everyone for their messages and prayers, and urged them to do their part to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

In a social media post, Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto recalled moments with his driver, one of his first employees who had been with him even before he entered politics.

Kuya Vener is one of Sotto’s first employees who had been with him even before he entered politics.

In his official Facebook page, “Napakabait at maaasahan si Kuya Vener. Si ever-smiling… na kahit nga pinapagalitan na ay nakangiti pa rin. Nung hindi pa ako konsehal at nagiisa palang siyang staff ko, kaming dalawa yung laging magkasama. Sinuyod namin ang mga eskenita’t looban ng Pasig nang kaming dalawa lang. Kwentuhan lang habang nasa sasakyan, mula umaga hanggang gabi. Isang mabuting asawa, ama, at kaibigan. Mahal na mahal siya ng mga tao.”
