Veteran Senator Panfilo Lacson revealed the plan of Boxing Legend turned politician Manny Pacquiao to run for presidency on national election in 2022.

According to the similar report published by the Inquirer, Lacson said that Pacquiao approaches him several times and open up about his plan for the 2022 polls.

“Sa Senate, kasi halos seatmates kami…two or three times, he approached me and sat beside me and he said: ‘Baka pwedeng magusap tayo.’ Kasi yun nga, may plano nga siya baka pwedeng tulungan siya especially sa budget, ‘yong mga ganon,” Lacson narrated.

As to remember, Pacquiao has repeatedly expressing his priorities at this moment that helping Flipinos and assisting their needs must be given more importance amidst the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country rather than talking about politics.

Manny Pacquiao is currently serving as the national president of ruling party PDP-Laban under the chairmanship of President Rodrigo Duterte.
