Many among the online world community admired him the way he depicted in the lyrics as proud Filipino. This is one of the many reasons his performance on Wish went viral on social media and continues to hook up massive views and reactions.
But we cannot also deny the fact that there are people who were disappointed by Ez Mil because of his twisted lyrics. According to similar report on ABS-CBN News, Mayor Chan admitted he was hurt by the lyrics of Panalo which twisted facts stating that Lapu-Lapu died.
“As father of this city, I was hurt with his lyrics. If he doesn’t recognize Datu Lapu-Lapu as a hero, then he shouldn’t have included him in his song which may cause outrage to our Oponganon,” Mayor Chan said.
Because of this, Lapu-Lapu Mayor is recommending to the city council to ban the rapper from entering the city, the report, said. They also want him to make a public apology and urge him to “correct his mistake”.
However, in the previous article, the rapper has apologized but he also explained the reason why he made that choice as an artist. He clarified he knows exactly about the history but he did it put him in the trend.
