Dacera was found dead in a bathtub of her room at the City Garden Hotel in Barangay Poblacion. An investigation showed she and the suspects were at a New Year’s Eve party.
The family of alleged r*pe-slay victim Christine Dacera refuted the earlier findings of the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) that the 23-year-old flight attendant died of an aneurysm.
The Makati City Prosecutor’s Office has ordered the release of three suspects detained in connection with the death of flight attendant Christin Dacera.
According to Prosecutor General Benedicto Malcontento, the local prosecutor’s office referred the case for preliminary investigation with the intention of finding out if Dacera was exploited before he was killed and if proven, what was the participation of the suspects in the case.
“No evidence medically or scientifically was presented to prove that the cause of death or the rupture of aortic aneurysm was by reason of the alleged rape,” the resolution stated. “Likewise, if homicide was committed, the person/s responsible is/are yet to be ascertained through further evidence.”
