President Rodrigo Duterte worries that the COVID-19 case in the Philippines will reach millions because it is possible to put the country in “serious trouble”.

Duterte is appealing to the public to pray because the case continues to rise to more than 500,000 today.

According to the President, scientists and statisticians are already studying why the case continues to rise which may be the reason for past public gatherings or the departure to work.

The President acknowledged that the country could do nothing to stop everyone from coming out.

According to the President, it is possible that he will use “draconian measures” to keep everyone inside the homes when people are dying on the streets due to the virus.

The President also mentioned that it is helpful to follow protocols such as hand washing, wearing face masks and faceshields and social distancing.
