The current target of the new General Manager of Central Negros Electric cooperatives (CENECO) is to reduce consumer electricity costs.
In an interview with Aksyon Radio, CENECO General Manager Atty. Danny Pondevilla, whose goal is to reduce the cost of electricity through the generation of Generation Charges.
Pondevilla also stated that the 40 megawatt power supply ordered by KEPCO Salcon Power Corporation is already in excess of the supply needed by consumers.
Along with this, Pondevilla also plans to reduce the power supply ordered by KEPCO Salcon to 20 megawatts and conduct bidding for it to see cheaper power supply charges.

Pondevilla said that preventive maintenance period will also have a new schedule as he suggested to the Engineering Department the possibility of scheduling work from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. so that major activities will not be affected compared to the usual whole-day brownout in affected areas.
