Senior vice-president of ABS-CBN and Star Magic Manager Johnny Manahan fined the actress Julia Barretto Php 10,000.00 before, this was after she did this during Star Magic Ball.
Julia has been a Star Magic artist ever since she started in showbiz. She has stood by with the management until the network’s renewal of the franchise has been denied. That’s when she decided to switch talent management of VIVA Artists.
And recently, the VIVA Artists Agency (VAA) has confirmed that their newest artist is the “stronger, fiercer, and brighter” Julia Barretto. The already signed a 5-year contract with Viva.
According to Julia, one of the reasons that she pushed to do it is because of the announcement of Miss Mariole’s retirement. Wherein she will only just stay until December 31 and will be replaced by Direk Laurenti Dyogi. This is her way to explore and see other opportunities.
And now, remembering her remarkable moments with her former talent management group, she recalled one thing she did during Star Magic ball way back 2014. She was just 17 years old then and was fined Php 10,000.00 by Mr, Johnny Manahan for being underage drinking an alcoholic drink.
She accordingly drank champagne and the next day, the founder and chairman emeritus of Star Magic fined her Php 10,000.00 which, to her, only shows that they do not tolerate the mistakes of their talents and artists. Based on Pep, she expressed her deep gratitude to Mr. M and her Tita Mariole for guiding her and instilling her values that she would take until she grows older.
“I think I will never be able to thank you enough just for absolutely everything. For making my dreams come true, for believing in me, and just looking after all of us, and treating us like your own. I can’t imagine Star Magic without you as our dad,” Julia said.
Meanwhile, other ABS-CBN artists who are under Viva include Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Marco Gumabao, Xian Lim, Matteo Guidicelli, Bela Padilla, Kim Molina, Sarah Geronimo, and a lot more.
