Local Government Unit (LGU) of Caloocan City is set to give free tablet to all Grade 9 to Grade 12 public students as needed for the blended distance learning implemented by the DepEd during the pandemic.

According to the report, the giving of free tablet to all public students is an effort of the LGU of Caloocan City to help students in order for them to coop-up with their online classes.

An estimate of 66,000 tablet devices to be given to all public students in the city of Caloocan. This simply means that every family member with students from Grade 9 to Grade 12 studying in the public school will have to expect to receive a free tablet from the Municipality of Caloocan City. You may come to visit your municipality to verify this report and if ever available, you can go home with your tablet after you complied the necessary required document to prove you’re one among the thousands of beneficiaries in the city to avail.

Furthermore, the municipality of Caloocan City also bought other equipment for printing educational materials in order to print learning modules to be given to the lower grade levels from Grade 8 down to the kinder level students.
