President Rodrigo Duterte kiss the ground in Solo on Sunday during his visit to condole the victims of two explosions occurred where 15 lives reportedly killed and at least 75 others are wounded.

According to the report, President Duterte kissed the ground where the blasts occurred as his high expression of sympathy and condolence to the victims in the land of Solo.

The photo of President Duterte where he bow down and kiss the ground wearing face mask was first shared by Senator Christopher “Bong” Go on his social media account.

The President also offered flowers and prayer to the victims. After his visit to the area the President proceed to Camp Teodolfu Bautista to visit and see the actual situation of the injured individuals including the military who were treated in the hospital.

There were mixed reactions from the online community to the said action of the president in kissing the ground. Some said it’s just a drama while majority of the comments said they can feel the sincerity of President Duterte with his sympathy to the victims as normal for him who is in responsibility as president of the country to express the same action towards the situation.
