The shocking revelation of Jay Sonza against the Chairman emeritus of the giant TV network ABS-CBN caught the attention of the netizens.
During the House hearings of the franchise renewal, one of the most emphasize issue was about the citizenship of the chairman emeritus Gabby Lopez. But according to Justice Undersecretary Emmeline Aglipay-Villar of the Department of Justice (DOJ) she explained that Gabby Lopez is truly a Filipino because both of his parents are Filipino.
During the hearing, the top personnel of the ABS-CBN tried to show to their innocence but despite of their best effort their bid to gain the new franchise renewal was not granted by the 70 lawmakers and ended up to shut down and junk their appeal.
Following after the rejection of the franchise renewal of the ABS-CBN, a known critic of the country’s major issues Jay Sonza comes to scene and blasts a controversial revelation against Gabby Lopez.
According to the revelation on the Facebook post of Jay Sonza, Lopez double crossed ABS-CBN as he has already sold his 49% shares of stocks at the Lopez Holdings after seeing that the network has no chance of renewal with another contract for 25-year legislative franchise. The shares of stocks were sold before the end of 2019 until March 2020. Weeks before the franchise hearing started, Gabby Lopez has no more share in the company.
“Ayon sa mismong report ng kumpanya, last part ng 2019 naidispatsa na pala ni American Citizen gabby lopez ang lahat ng kanyang shares of stocks sa Lopez Holdings. And by March 2020, weeks before the franchise hearing, gabby has ZERO part in the company that owns 49% of ABS CBN Broadcasting Corporation.”
In another time, Jay Sonza wrote again, in his Facebook post he asked what happened to thousands of employees that he believed fooled by their shrewd ship captain.
Jay Sonza is a talk show host and former newscaster. His programs included Ito Ang Balita, Balitang Balita, Saksi, Tapatan With Jay Sonza, Mel and Jay, and many others. Sometime he tried to run for a public post but both lost the race.
