It is not easy to find someone that you would end up settling with in the future, most especially in the first relationship. Couples nowadays tend to break up for some reason and find another partner, up until they finally meet their one and only. However, actress Ritz Azul had shown that true love can still be found in the first try.

On her Instagram post, she first started her message by thanking her family and friends, “I want to thank our friends and family for making this magical moment possible. Thanks also to everyone who greeted us. Above all, I thank God for everything!!!”

“Year 2016, nakilala ko si Allan at naging magkaibigan kami. Naging best of best friends kami, lahat nasasabi ko sa kanya at sobra ko syang napagkakatiwalaan.” Ritz wrote on the captions on how she and her boyfriend first met.

Time passed when she met Allan’s family, and Allan met hers. However, Ritz made a vow to herself saying “Hindi ako naghahanap ng boyfriend dahil nangako ako sa sarili ko na hindi ako magaasawa para hindi ako mahirapan in the future.”

Until the time came that Allan confessed that he loves her. “Hindi naman nya ako tinanong kung okay lang ba maging magbf-gf kami. Pinakikita lang nya sa actions nya. Isang araw naging prangka ako sa kanya, sinabihan ko sya na mas mabuting magmahal sya ng iba para hindi masayang ang panahon nya sakin dahil hindi magwowork ito, hindi ko kaya.” Ritz continued.

The next thing she wrote on the Instagram captions was Allan’s response. “Hindi ako nagmamadali. Nandito lang ako palagi para sayo. Maghihintay ako kahit gaano katagal pero hindi ko pinapangako na kakayanin ko. Gagawin ko ang lahat.” Allan answered.

Ritz stated that Allan truly did what she promised to her, saying that he would wait. She admitted that it was not only her who loved Allan, but also her family.

The proposal was supposed to be done in Switzerland, but was cancelled due to the pandemic. Instead, the proposal took place on their farm in Batangas.

“Umuulan pa pero nung moment na magpopropose na sya, nagclear ang langit at kita pa ang bundok. Pagkatapos nyang magpropose, umulan ulit. Sobrang magical. Napabanggit ako ng “Salamat sa Dios.”

Many were happy for the engaged couple and congratulated the actress.
