Raymond Pulbos Santos shared his story how he survived his life from the deadly disease and inspired other COVID-19 patients by looking the positive side of life.
Raymond was also inspired by the beauty queens who have greeted him. (You will surprise who are the beauty queens in this video).
According to the 25-year-old who was an HR Specialists, he got hospitalized for more than two (2) months. He said that life becomes complicated after he was diagnosed of kidney failure that he cannot live his life as normal because he was spending some of his time for dialysis session at least three (3) times a week.
And things become even more complicated after he was considered Person Under Investigation (PUI) sometime in the month of March 2020.
He said that things are hard for him as kidney patient and got other complications due to coronavirus disease. He said that there are hospitals and dialysis centers refused him to be accommodated because he was a PUI.
“Feeling ko ‘yung moment na ‘yon, ‘yung buhay ko is 1 percent na lang. Para akong kandilang unti-unti napupuspos kasi 11 days na akong walang dialysis. Plus ‘yung symptoms ng COVID-19. Feeling ko talaga time ko na nu’ng oras na ‘yon,” he said.
“Yung tipong naghihingalo ka na, nagmamakaawa ka na sa mga hospital and centers na pinupuntahan n’yo, pero wala talagang makatulong sa inyo,” he added.
He was tested positive of COVID-19 disease. He said nobody with him in the hospital fighting for life. But his positive outlook in life and the inspiration to achieve his dream to become a beauty queen and trust to God made him strong to survive.
He got excited after learning that his most admired beauty queens greeted him that include Maria Venus Raj Miss Universe 2010 4th Runner-up, Maxine Medina Miss Philippines Universe 2016, Gazini Ganados Miss Philippines-Universe 2019, Rachel Peters Miss Philippines-Universe 2017 and Catriona Gray Miss Universe 2018.
