Being in a relationship, there will always be times that you misunderstand each other and that’s normal. There will be certain issues which can possibly provoke your partner and lead into a serious breakup.

The celebrity couple, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla famously known together as ‘KathNiel’, talks about the times they almost broke up.

“Of course. Just like any relationships, dumaan kami diyan sa point na ‘yan.” Kathryn admitted. “Hindi ko alam kung yun yung ika-third or fourth year… yun yung una.”

They said that in their 8-year-relationship, this happened twice.

“Tapos yung ika-seventh year, yung seven-year itch, ibang issue naman yun.”

“Totoo siya,” she added.

“So dumaan and parang dadating yun sa relationship, kasi mag-e-eight years na kami.

“Tapos may dadating talaga na problema na magte-test sa inyong dalawa, so dun na-test.”

Kathryn did not give anymore details about the reason behind their fights.

“Marami na kaming away ni Kathryn na talagang away rin talaga.” Daniel stated. 

“And ako, sa parte ko, parang meron na akong… alam mo yung pagkakataon ko na tumalikod at umalis, e.”

“Pero tatalikod man ako, after five minutes babalik din ako, e.” Daniel revealed.

Daniel sees love as a plant, a plant that needs to be taken care of and let it grow.

“Para siyang halaman, di ba, kailangan mo siyang mahalin.”

He also revealed the reason why he never gives up on their relationship. “Baka wala na akong makuhang pag-ibig na ganito ulit.”
