Recently, He uploaded a video from his official YouTube channel stated that he’s no longer with ABS-CBN and banned by a Kapamilya boss. In his YouTube channel, Daryl Ong stated that he and singer Bugoy Drilon were on an Iloilo trip for an out of town show when their conversation was recorded and apparently reached an ABS-CBN boss. 

Apparently, Daryl and Bugoy are discussing investing in the stock market of ABS-CBN and when the conversation leads to the ABS-CBN franchise issue. They don’t know that there is someone behind them a close friend of ABS-CBN boss and recorded their conversation.

“Sabi ni Bugoy na 60 thousand na lang yung kulang para mabuo yung 1 million. Ako naman nakita ko rin yun, ang pagkakakita ko naman 60 thousang pa lang yung nagsasign. So sabi ko kay Bugs [Bugoy] ‘Hindi, hindi 60 thousand na lang, 60 thousang pa lang at anong petsa na….Wala na yan malabo na yan hindi na yan aabot kasi 60 thousang pa lang anong petsa na,” he said. 

“Tapos nagdagdag ako ng comment na sabi ko mahirap yan, naku malabo na yan mahirap yan, kalaban ba naman nila ang gobyerno, si Presidente ba naman ang kalaban, so malabo na yan,” he added. 

He explained his side when Netizens react to their GMA guesting. “Ginawa ko po itong video nato to explained our side.” Despite everything happens, he thanked ABS-CBN who gave him the opportunity to reach whatever he has now with his career. 

He said he’s thankful for all the shows, projects, and friends in ABS-CBN such as Vice Ganda, ASAP family, The Voice, and Coco Martin.
