In Kuwait, a seven-year-old Pinay Child died after eating food ordered online, according to GMA news report by Vonne Aquino on Tuesday.
The childs name is Zara Louise Lano. She died on March 21 a day after eating fried chicken they ordered online from a fast food chain.

As of the child’s mother, Faye Lano, she said, “Habang kumakain kami, nagko-complain ako sa kanila, sabi ko parang hindi na maganda kasi yung chicken. Parang masyado nang oily, parang ininit na lang”
According to the Lano family, after they finished eating the chicken, they started to feel something bad and went to a hospital on March 21.
After several hours, Zara, the child and Faye, the mother, were discharged while Dax, the father, and the couple’s eldest son, Sigfried, remained confined.
“Okay yung X-ray nila, okay yung vitals nila, nag-decide po yung ospital na i-discharge sila,” said Dax, referring to Zara and Faye.
However on the same day, Zara and Faye once again experienced stomach ache and nausea.
When they returned to the hospital, Faye was put on intensive care unit, while Zara was declared dead on arrival.
According to Zara’s death certificate, it cited that the child died cause of death is because of acute failure of blood circulation and respiration and septic shock.
As of Zara’s body, it have been send back to the Philippines and will be going to undergone re-autopsy.
The family is now appealing for justice for her death. And if its proven that Zara died from food poisoning, the family would definitely file a case against the fast food chain and also to the hospital because of their wrong diagnosis. Zara was buried in Bulacan.
As for The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) they hasn’t yet to issue a statement regarding the issue.
