See the reaction of Willie Revillame and how he deals with it after the Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque jokes about the shut down of ABS-CBN.

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque guested on Willie Revillame’s GMA-7 program Wowowin last Wednesday, May 27. Revillame invited Roque to talk about some updates regarding the pandemic coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-2019) in the country.

At first, Roque talks about the Revillame’s show being the only program that the people were currently watching on television. Eventually, the presidential spokesperson jokes around and teased the host that he is the reason why the other network has lost their franchise. He said, “Oh, aminin… aminin.” while laughing.

However, Revillame smiles and shook his head while saying, “Sec, wala po akong… Malaki din po ang utang na loob ko sa istasyon na iyan. Doon ako nagsimula, doon ako nakilala, nasa puso ko pa rin iyan. Kapamilya, Kapatid, Kapuso, bawat Pilipino.” The host said in a serious face while he defends his former network.

He then plead to the government official not to involve him in the franchise renewal of his former network as he might get criticized.

But Roque insisted saying, “Pero anyway, nag-iisa ka na lang ngayon.” 

And as Willie closed and change the topic, he started to talk about a certain topic and said that they had invited Roque as a guest to talk about what will happen to the country in the coming months.

Recalling, the year 1998 when Willie transferred to ABS-CBN and joined as a co-host in the noontime show ‘Sang Linggo nAPO Sila. That was his big break then which made him become one of the main hosts of Magandang Tanghali Bayan, the replacement of the above-mentioned show.

In addition, in 2005, he became the host of Noontime gameshow Wowowee. And despite all the issues and controversies, it was indeed a successful show which aired for five years.
