Coco Martin did not mince words as he bared his anger over the government closure of ABS-CBN’s broadcast operations. The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) issued a cease and desist order against the media giant ABS-CBN to stop its broadcast and radio operations, a day after its legislative franchise expired. 

Recently, Coco Martin airs his sentiments about ABS-CBN’s sudden closure and stated “”Tuwang-tuwa kayo na nawalan ng trabaho ang 11,000 na tao. O ngayon, kaming 11,000 na tao, anong mangyayari sa amin ngayon? Ngayon, kaming mga artista, paano namin tutulungan ang ilang pamilyang tinutulungan namin at binubuhay namin? Anong sabi ni Harry Roque? ‘O, pumila kayo sa DOLE. Huwag kayong mag-alala, bibigyan namin kayo ng ayuda.’ E kung ang buong Pilipinas nga hindi ninyo ma-supplyan e, pati kami makikidagdag? Ano pong gagawin namin ngayon?”
