The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and Department of Transportation (DOTR) issued update fare hike to take effect during the Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) in province of Negros Occidental.
According to the report published in the Facebook Page of RAM Radio 98.5 FM, the fare rate to take effect in the province of Negros are the following:
- For the Non-aircon type of service, the first 5 kilometers will be charged for P11.00 and P1.85 for succeeding kilometer.
- For the Aircon service the first 5 kilometers will be charged for P13.00 and P2.20 for the succeeding kilometer.
- Traditional PUJ, the first 4 kilometers will be charged for P9.00 and P1.50 for the succeeding kilometer.
- For Modernized (N/A), the first 4 kilometers will be charged for P11.00 and P1.50 for the succeeding kilometer.
- For Modernized (A/C), the first 4 kilometers will be charged for P11.00 and P1.80 for the succeeding kilometer.
- Taxi is charged based on the meter reading.
The LTFRB and DOTR also noted that the maximum capacity load is also reduced to the new regulated advisory as the areas is placed under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ).
- For the Buses, 50% of the total capacity is reduced.
- For the jeepney passenger is also 50% reduced
- Taxi is allowed only for the maximum of 3 passengers
