Bagyong Ambo Landfall in Bicol & Eastern Visayas has more damages according to the authorities.  

Several Town Patrollers waited in Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas Thursday for Typhoon Ambo’s expected evacuation of the provinces. 

Around 12:15 pm when the first typhoon hits San Policarpio, Eastern Samar on May 14, 2020. In ABS-CBN news stated that heavy rain, but strong winds were being recorded by Bayan Patroller Joanna Amarra at 10am in Barangay Paypayon, Oras, Eastern Samar. They are also using the generator because there is no power supply anymore. 

Two hours before the landfall, a video of Bayan Patroller Justine Ramilo shows the force of the storm in Barangay Garden, Arteche. 

Bayan Patroller Alvin Icaranom of Barangay Macutal, Baras, Catanduanes, had put a sandbag on the roof of his house. 

According to PAGASA weather forecast, “Ambo” has made landfall over San Policarpo, Eastern Samar at 12:15 PM today. The eyewall of Typhoon “Ambo” is bringing violent winds and heavy to intense rains over the northern portion of Eastern Samar. Northern portion of Samar and southern portion of Northern Samar will be affected by the eyewall in the coming hours.
