Upon arrival in the city, some seafarers must undergo a 14-day quarantine at Graciano Lopez Jaena Elementary School to ensure the health of Bacolod residents. They must undergo a test if they are not infected by the deadly disease called Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Some OFW shows disappointment towards the quarantine location provided by the Bacolod City officials. Poor accommodation, lack of sanitation proven by the C.R., Poor quality of rooms and etc. The seafarers are not satisfied wilt the accommodation provided by the local government of Bacolod City.
In the News of Bombo Radyo Achor Erlyn Bayonita, she stated that these seafarers are boastful, they must take into consideration and be thankful for the efforts of the local government unit and does not expect VIP treatment.
