“Kindness Station” in Sorsogon caught the attention of many netizens. A station where you can donate foods like rice, instant coffee, milk, canned goods, etc. Clothes are also donated or things that can benefit those who are extremely affected by the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).
Their motto is “Give, Share, Receive” and they are encouraging others to take what they can if they don’t have anything.
They said that citizens should not hesitate to ask for their help because no one will judge them and in fact, they only want to help people out. Even though they are not rich, they wanted to share what they have especially these times of trouble.
It has been two weeks since they have started and since then, they have helped more than 500 families.
Currently, there are other stations located in Sorsogon and citizens would like their organization to spread in wider areas. Their objective is to spread kindness and not selfishness. For those who would like to help but lives far from Bicol, they are accepting financial donations on patunguhan.pin.
