The Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit (CAFGU) is an irregular auxiliary force of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. They are allowed to carry firearms to defend their respective localities.

And now viral online the CAFGU with a salary of P4,500 per month and want to ask help for President Rodrigo Duterte for salary increase.

CAFGU is armed with small guns such as M1 Garand, M-14, or M-16 rifles. Their task is to maintain the peace of their jurisdiction.

A Facebook user named Warlie Valenzuela has posted on social media and asking help to the President for salary increase. His post became viral and gathers various reactions on the social media world.

He wants President Duterte to pay attention to him and the whole CAFGU and to those who are personnel in Mindanao. They are just earning P4, 500 every month. P10, 000 will be a big help to them as salary increases.

“I Salute u sir President DUTERTE…sana bigyan mo kaming pansin mga cafgu lalo na sa area namin Mindanao na mabubuhay namin aming familya na may maayos na kinabukasan…4500 lng s.a. or salary/mnth namin same work lng kami ng mga enlisted personel handang mamatay at nglalakad sa kabundukan.Sana kahit 10k lng salary namin ok nah sir President…”
