‘No Facemask No Entry’ Policy for Davao del Sur Provincial Capitol Employees

The employees are wearing a facemask in Davao del Sur’s Provincial Capitol on Monday in response to Gov. Douglas Cagas order “no facemask, no entry” policy in offices to prevent the threat of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). According to Cagas, they will release P20 million from the calamity fund as an immediate action by the province.

The money will be used to build additional provincial hospital isolation rooms and buy alcohol and facemask for clients and employees. Cagas also urged the mayor and barangay captains to set up an isolation facility. The governor confirms that no COVID-19 symptoms have been reported in the province.

Recently, “Twenty-four in all as of the last count,” Duterte said in a press conference in Malacañang.

COVID2019 preventive measures…

  1. Frequent handwashing with soap
  2. Avoid unnecessary contact between the hand and mouth & Nose
  3. Eat well-cooked meat & egg or avoid them
  4. Make use of a face mask while going to public gathering places.

As of March 10, 2020, more than 114,223 people have been infected and over 4,005 have died worldwide from the novel coronavirus, which has reached some 80 countries and territories. There are 62,834 recovered from the epidemic disease.
