Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III wife Kathryna Yu-Pimentel gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Sunday, March 29, 2020, according to a reliable source of Rappler news. Recently, Senator Koko went viral on social networking sites because he broke the quarantine protocol at least twice by going shopping at S&R Price Club in BGC and accompanying his wife to Makati Medical Center. Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III is tested positive for the novel coronavirus. 

However, the healthy baby girl named is Ma Kathryn Helena, the first baby of Kathryn Yu and Senator Koko Pimentel. The senator also has two sons from a previous marriage.  

The MMC Medical Director Saturnino Javier slams Pimentel’s action as an “irresponsible and reckless” breach of protocol which he exposed their staff to the virus. “o the burden of a hospital trying to respond to its most competent and aggressive manner to cope with the daunting challenges of this COVID-19 outbreak.” 

DOH recorded COVID-19 (as of March 30, 2020) has infected 1, 418 people in the Philippines, with 71 death and 42 recovered.
