Breaking news, Bacolod City Mayor confirms the first positive case of COVID-19 in Bacolod city.

The patient is 56 years old and had a travel history in London. He arrived in Bacolod City last February 29, 2020 and now in stable condition.

The local government of the city is fast tracking the person in contact with the victim, specially his friends and family and will enforce a 14 day quarantine to avoid the spread of COVID 19

The result was verified by RITM and many more specimen were tested to see more if the PUI of Bacolod City will be positive or negative of the virus.

As of now many are still monitored and Bacolod City is on general community lockdown.

Please be advised that people inside the city must cooperate and follow the government advisory to stop the spreading of the virus and if possible stay at your home, maintain 1 meter social distancing.
