TAGUIG, A certain employee in the area test positive of “Corona virus” COVID19.

In a certain post in Facebook, Deolitte noted the employee is working at the Bonifacio Global area and now treated in the nearest hospital on the vicinity.

Deolitte, confirmed that they had a co-worker who test positive of COVID19 and now receiving treatment and quarantined to avoid more direct contact to stop spreading of the disease.

He added that safety and health is the main priority of the company and all precautions had already implemented, the firm also monitors the family and the people in contact with the patient together with the client he/she interacted.

“We continue to monitor and manage the COVID-19 situation in order to respond as necessary,” Deolitte added

Meanwhile DOH (Department of Health) thru Health Secretary Duque confirmed two other cases of COVID19 but what was alarming are both patients do not any travel history outside the country, which means it is a local transmission.

According to Sec. Duque they had already alerted the Bureau of Quarantine and other agencies to level up the alertness and preparation for the upcoming threat in the country.

Also the ports and other portal are now in tight security to ensure the safety of the people and to avoid the spreading of this deadly pathogen.

The question is how can we are affected with just a local transmission only because the disease comes from outside the country?

Maybe there is no tight control on the passageway of the country wherein foreigners can enter freely without direct authorization.
