BACOLOD CITY, a 5 month old baby was killed by a rushing flood last March 6, 2020 (Friday).

According to the authorities around 6 am the corpse of the baby was seen at Barangay 35.

It was reported that Friday in the afternoon the rushing flood flows together with the baby because the house was also destroyed by the rage of water where the baby is located at Barangay Taculing Bacolod City.

The parents of the baby survived and tried their best to retrieve the baby but unluckily they cannot find their child.

Last Friday the city experienced heavy flooding due to Low Pressure Area and cause heavy damage to specific barangays in Bacolod.

Some netizens reports that the flood is almost at neck level, according to risk reduction council the flooding is due to clog drainage due to garbage and other materials that can block the passageway of the flood waters.

Meanwhile the public is reminder by the RRDMC to also maintain a proper waste disposal to avoid another incident of heavy flooding.

As of now the Visayas region is alerted by the PAG-ASA to expect upcoming heavy rains and thunderstorms due to low pressure area.
