Breaking news! As of 11:30 PM, the list of confirmed cases of the 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the Philippines hits 24, (Monday Evening) March 9, 2020. The Philippine President announced it after a meeting with health officials in Malacañang. “Twenty-four in all as of the last count,” Duterte said in a press conference in Malacañang.
Last Sunday (March 8, 2020), the department of health officials releases a statement that there are four new coronavirus cases. But in the report on Monday morning, the confirmed cases have doubled to 20.
