A certain Filipina and a foreigner is now in tight quarantine due to suspected coronavirus infection in Negros Occidental.

It was confirmed by Governor Bong Lacson and quoted that they were now monitoring two personalities under observation due to Ncov 2019.

According to recent reports the first is a male foreigner with a travel history from Taiwan and admitted in January 31, 2020.

The second a Filipina was admitted last February 1, 2020 with a travel itinerary from Hongkong.

Gov. Bong stressed that the two suspected victim had already undergone series of test and their specimen is already forwarded to RITM (Research Institute For Tropical Medicine).

The local government of Negros Occidental revealed that the result will arrived for the male will be on Tuesday and for the Filipina is expected on Wednesday.

As of now the two is isolated and confined at Corazon Locsin Hospital and strictly quarantine and the people who had been contact with them is now monitored and also recalled to be tested if they positive with the virus.

As an action to the possible threat Lacson wants to activate the Provincial Infectious Disease Action and Control Committee and pleased to the private hospital to accept the patients who is suspected for this kind of disease.
