Just in! The Taliban has claimed a US forces aircraft crashed in eastern Afghanistan. According to the Taliban statement on Monday, the plane was from state-owned by Ariana Afghan Airlines. The US military has joined an investigation into a plane that crashed in eastern Afghanistan.
On Twitter account of Pajhwok Afghan News, stated that “reporter Saifullah Maftoon visited the area in Ghazni province, where an Aircraft crashed today, our reporter found some document there. #Taliban said few US force officers were killed in this incident.”
Video and images posted online appeared to show a Bombardier E-11A jet, a US Air Force plane. A spokeswoman for US Central Command, US Army Maj Beth Riordan told Associated Press news agency that it remained unclear whose aircraft was involved in the crash.
