Vice President Leni Robredo visits Taal evacuees in Batangas and serves her “Lugaw Leni” and pandesal to villagers affected by the Taal Volcano eruption.

Aside from lugaw and pandesal, Robredo also distributed other necessary things to villagers such as masks, toiletries and relief goods.

In this video, you will see Robredo personally hands out bowls of lugaw to evacuees who still remain in the evacuation center in Batangas on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.

During the feeding program and distribution of relief goods, Robredo took the “Lugaw Leni” tag that was trolled to her by her critics.

While serving a bowl of lugaw, Robredo quipped saying, “Dito po nagsasandok tayo ng ‘Leni Lugaw’ na special saka po mga pandesal,” she said.

Robredo also calling the attention of Mocha Uson for criticizing her regarding relief effort that Mocha claimed she was only distributing pandesal and bottled water.
