The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) and NDRRMC announce a 5.9 Magnitude Earthquake Kadingilan (Bukidnon) on Monday Evening, Nov. 18, 2019, around 09:22:08 PM.
The location is 07.66°N, 124.89°E – 008 km N 24° W of Kadingilan (Bukidnon) and the Depth of Focus (KM) is 005 with the Origin “Tectonic.”

PHIVOLCS is the service institute of the DOST for monitoring and mitigation of volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and tsunami.
Phivolcs stated that they cannot predict when or where an earthquake or tsunami will happen. What they do is to prepare earthquake scenarios of hazards and impacts to be used as a guide for mitigation, preparedness, and response.
