Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) and NDRRMC announce a 2.3 magnitude earthquake hits Tulunan (Cotabato) on Monday, November 11, 2019 around 10:17:28 AM. The location of the 2.3 magnitude earthquake is 106.81°N, 124.99°E – 019 km S 75° E of Tulunan (Cotabato).
Depth of Focus is 026 kilometers and the Origin is Tectonic.
According to source there is no casualties has been reported. People of Tulunan (Cotabato) must aware to the aftershocks. If needed proceed to nearest evacuation centers.
According to PHILVOLCS, “We cannot predict when or where an earthquake or tsunami will happen. What we do is prepare earthquake scenarios of hazards and impacts to be used as a guide for mitigation, preparedness, and response.”
