Some Local Government Units (LGUs) announces classes’ suspensions and work on Thursday, October 31, 2019 in observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day or more popularly known as “Undas.”
It was declared a Special non-working holiday for All Saint’s Day on Friday, November 1, 2019. President Rodrigo Duterte also declares November 2 (Saturday) a non-working holiday for All Souls’ Day per Proclamation No. 555.
“to strengthen family ties by providing more time for the traditional All Saint’s Day and All Soul’s Day… will promote domestic tourism as well,” said by the President Duterte.
Governor Rodolfo T. Alabano III has declared October 31 (Thursday) special non-working holiday in all government and non-government offices in the province of Isabela. This is to
“Afford Isabelenos time and opportunity to travel to the place of the tombs and graves of their dead ancestors and conduct cleanup and perform maintanenance thereof,” announced by Governor Rodolfo T. Alabano III special non-working holiday in all government and non-government offices in the province of Isabela.
Here are the lists of class and work suspensions for Thursday, October 31, 2019:
- Asian College-Quezon City Campus – classes and work from October 31 to November 3
- De La Salle University-Manila – classes and work from October 31 to November 2
- De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde – classes and work from October 31 to November 2
- La Consolacion College-Manila – classes and work from October 30 to November 2
- Province of Isabela – special non-working holiday on October 31
- Tuguegarao City – half-day suspension (all levels, public and private; work in all government offices)
