The province of Albay pronounce suspension of classes in all level of public and private academic institution.
The office of Gov. Francis Bichara, the local government of Albay has already declared suspension of classes on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 due to the anticipated 2-days transport strike.
Bichara ordered class suspensions affecting the entire area of Albay in both public and private schools after Condor Piston Bicol group announced to conduct a transport strike tomorrow.
In an interview with Inquirer, Bichara said, “The Condor Piston Bicol had announced their collective decisions of holding a mass transport strike tomorrow.”
Governor Bichara is also the chairman of the Albay’s Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC).
The politician explained that the expected mass transport strike prompted PDRRMC to announce the suspensions of classes at all levels.
