People in Cebu City were panicking after being alarmed that tsunami is taking place in the city. The panic you will see in this video was taken somewhere in Pasil and Carbon areas of the city at the year 2015. As you can see, people were going somewhere and the incident creating chaos and panic from one place to another. People seems don’t know what to do and don’t know the reasons why they are panicking and afraid of unknown.

But according to the camera man, the people were panic due to the false alarm that the rising of the sea water level was just a normal occurrence due to the hide tide.

This incident was taking place where the people were getting panic due to traumatic experience took place in Japan sometime in 2012 where tsunami kills hundreds of thousands people and destroy infrastructures, establishments and lives.

This incident is normal reaction due to traumatic experience they have seen in video footage during the tsunami in Japan. We cannot blame them with their reaction but if ever somebody who was responsible of giving false alarm that triggers the people to panic, I think that person must be punished.
