#WALANGPASOK: Classes Suspended on Thursday, August 23, 2018 in Selected Areas Only

There are some several areas have been cancelled due to the inclement weather condition due to southwest monsoon or hanging habagat.

PAGASA stated, “LUIS may enhance the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) which will bring scattered moderate to heavy rains in Ilocos region, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Batanes and Babuyan Islands starting tomorrow (August 24).”

PAGASA added, “Tropical Depression Luis is not expected to directly affect any part of the country. ”

Here are the list of classes suspended on Friday, August 24, 2018:

BENGUET (All Levels)

Baguio City (All Levels)

Abra province – Pre-school to High School (public/private)

• Apalit -Paligui Elementary School, Sampaga Elementary School and High School and Fausto Gonzales Sioco Memorial Elementary School (Colgante)
• Masantol, Macabebe – all levels (public/private)
• San Simon – San Agustin, San Isidro, Sta.Cruz, San Pablo
• San Luis – San Luis Elementary School, Sto. Rosario Elementary School
• Sasmuan – All levels (Public ONLY) EXCEPT Sto. Tomas Elementary School and High School, and Central Elementary School
• Sto. Tomas – Sto Tomas Elementary School and High School, San Matias National High School
