Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) episode in June 1, 2018 features Mccoy De Leon played as Romel, a young man who fears suffering the same fate as his brothers who are all diagnosed with dystonia, a movement disorder.

Romel went to Manila to find a job, he meets Easter (played by Claire Ruiz) and they got married. Romel went back home with Easter. Romel receive a bad news, his brother Nonoy (played by Angelo Ilagan) was diagnosed with dystonia.

According to the experts, Dystonia is a neurological movement disorder that results into twisting, repetitive movements, or abnormally fixed postures.

Romel found out that Dystonia passed on among the males in the family. His other brother (Mario Mortel) and Joey (Mico Aytona) were also diagnosed with the illness.

What would Romel do to surpass these trials on his life?

It is under the direction of Dado Lumibao and written by Akeem del Rosario.
