#WalangPasok: Classes Suspensions on Friday, February 16, 2018 as Malacañang Palace declared it a special non-working holiday Chinese New Year. Proclamation No. 269 issued by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea on July 17, 2017, “Chinese New Year is one of the Special Non-Working Days Listed.”
“Chinese all over the world celebrate Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, on Feb. 16, 2018,” Proclamation number 269 stated.
Some Local Government Offices cancelled all public and private schools to give way in celebrating the Chinese New Year.
For those who have a private employer, you need to wait for the announcement of your company whether to report on duty or not.
