#WalangPasok: November 13-15, 2017, Special non-working days in Metro Manila, Bulacan and Pampanga for the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and Related Meetings, announced by Malacañang Palace.

Malacañang Palace announcement through Proclamation No. 332 on Monday, October 23, 2017.

The Proclamation No. 332 stated that the various activities directly connected with the 31st ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, to be attended by ASEAN Leaders and ASEAN Dialogue Partners, will be held in NCR and Clark Field, Pampanga.

MMDA spokesperson Celine Pialago stated last October 14, 2017 to cancelled classes and work on the said dates as this would be beneficial to avoid heavy traffic on routes that would be used by ASEAN delegates to go to summit venues.

Presidential Spokesperson Ernie Abella said US President Donald Trump will visit the country this November for the ASEAN Summit week. It will also held together with ASEAN dialogue partners Australia, Canada, China, the European union, India, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, South Korea and the United States.
