Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) episode on October 21, 2017 features Yves Flores as George “Nonoy” Rubio who is unable to walk and stand all his life because of polio. His brother and best friend Giovanni “Banning” Rubio (played by Elmo Magalona), is able to carry and hang on through it all while still retaining his smiling and joking personality.
The strong bond of George and Baning are still remains despite of all trials.
MMK episode on October 21, 2017 is under the direction of Dado Lumibao and written by Benson Logronio. The casts are Yves Flores as George, Elmo Magalona as Baning, Miles Ocampo as Bernadeth, Smokey Manaloto as Agi, Arlene Muhlach as Bebie, Pinky Marquez as Genoviva, Crispin Pineda as Remijio, Josh De Guzman as Young George, JB Agustin as Young Baning, and Faye Alhambra as Young Bernadeth.
