Atom Araullo makes his acting debut on film “Citizen Jake”. It is under the direction of Mike De Leon. Araullo’s real life career in “Citizen Jake”, Atom Araullo portrays a journalist in Jake Herrera and the story is set a few months during country’s election period.

Citizen Jake would like to state that we did NOT submit our script to the MMFF Selection Committee. For two (2) Reasons:

One (1), a Film Festival entry should ALWAYS be a film, not a script. This is just common sense. In addition, two (2), aside from a handful of names the identities of the 24 or so members of the Selection Committee were never revealed to the public.
