State weather bureau PAGASA release statement, expect thunderstorm over Cebu (Sogod, Borbon) and nearby areas. All are advised to take precautionary measures against heavy rains, strong winds, lightning and possible flashfloods.

The Low Pressure Area was estimated based on all available data at 415 km East Northeast of Basco, Batanes (21.7°N, 125.7°E), posted by PAGASA.

In Caraga Region, cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms are expected to landfall.

In Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be experience a partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

PAGASA also added, “Light to moderate winds coming from the Southeast to South will prevail over Luzon and from the East to Southeast over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.”
