CPP–NPA–NDF Rebellion ambush cops at around 9:50 AM, Friday, July 21, 2017 in Magsaysay, Guihulngan City in Negros Oriental. According to PNP Spokesperson S/Supt. Dionardo Carlos, 6 cops were killed including City Chief of Police Psupt Arnel Arpon and 5 others cops; SPO2 Necasio Tabilon, SPO1 Jesael Ancheta, PO3 Chouvic Agosto, PO2 Alvin Paul Bulandres, & PO2 Alfredo Lastimoso Dunque. Also wounded were SPO4 Jerome Delara, PO3 Jordan Balderas, & PO2 Jorie Maribo.

The PNP will not stop until the perpetrators are made to answer for the crime. The PNP will support and follow the orders of our President/Commander-in-Chief/Chief Executive to temporarily halt talks.

We will continue to perform our mandate of protecting lives, properties and territories from the attacks of the NPA rebels.

In reports, last Wednesday, there are 4 officers of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) were wounded in an NPA ambush in Arakan, North Cotobato. Also in Palawan province, 2 members of the Philippine Marines were killed by NPA.
