In the video of CNN, this young girl pulled by a sea lion went viral online when a dangerous bacterial disease from the sea lion’s mouth. The father of 6-year-old told to CNN that his daughter has a superficial wound on her lower body when the sea lion grabbed her.
The father of the young girl told on CBC that the family was not trying to take photos when the sea lion grabbed her daughter off the dock, held at the Steveston Harbour in Richmond, British Columbia.
The girls’ family is immediate contacted the Vancouver Aquarium after seeing its expert on the possibility of seal finger.
According to Deana Lancaster (spokesperson for the Vancouver Aquarium), there was no information provided or given that she has an infection.
