Military advises all innocent civilians to wave white flag when they are evacuating from affected areas from the clashes between the inspired-ISIS “Maute group” against the forces of the government in Mindanao region which is now under martial law. This is to ensure that military can identify them that they are innocents civilians who just leave their places for safety.

The conflict in Mindanao started when the military conducted operation against the primary target senior Abu Sayaff leader Isnilon Hapilon and sibling Abdullah and Omarkhayam Maute.

Maute group retaliate by infiltrating Marawi City capturing almost 75% including hospital, schools, city hall and Christian religious communities which are their primary target and they also trying to brainwash youth Muslims to join their group.

Meanwhile, Malacañang released a copy of President Rodrigo Duterte’s report as the basis on his declaration of martial law in all regions of Mindanao.
