The November 2016 Bar Exam results will be release next week as the 15-member Supreme Court set a special full-court session to discuss the official results.
Public Information Office (PIO) announce on its official Twitter account that the magistrates would meet on May 3 to deliberate the outcome of the licensure exams for aspiring lawyers.
The 2016 bar exams was chaired by Associate Justice Presbitero Velasco Jr.
Bar Exam coverage: Political Law, Labor Law, Civil Law, Taxation, Mercantile Law, Criminal Law, Remedial Law, and Legal and Judicial Ethics. The standard passing grade of 75% was kept for the 2015 examinations. Section 14, Rule 138 of Revised Rule of Court stated that there should be no grade falling below 50% in any bar subject.
“The SC will hold a special en banc session to deliberate on Bar 2016 results on May 3, 2017. Results will be released thereafter,” the SC PIO (@SCph_PIO) said.
