The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces a total of 919 out of 1,595 passed the Architect Licensure Examination (ALE) given by the Board of Architecture. Professional Regulatory Board of Architecture administered the licensure examination in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Legaspi, held last January 27 & 29, 2017. The member of the board of Architecture was headed by its Chairman, Arch. Robert S. Sac with two other members, Arch. Fidel Jose R. Siapno and Arch. Robert M. Mirafuente.
Examinees answer the following subjects: History and Theory of Architecture; Principles of Planning; Architecture Practice (30%), Utilities Systems/Structural Conceptualization/Building Materials and Construction (30%), Architectural Design and Site Planning (40%).
The results were posted last February 3, 2017.
The successful examinees who garnered the ten (10) highest places in the January 2017 Architect Licensure Examination are the following:
Luiz Marko Pantua Silang from the University of the Philippines-Diliman got a highest percentage of 83.70.
