The Supreme Court (SC) announce passers for November 2016 Bar Examination. The total number of candidates admitted to take the 2016 BAR examination is 6, 831, held last November 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2016. According to the Supreme Court (SC), full list of passers and topnotchers who got at least 75 percent average grade will be announced online.
Supreme Court (SC) spokesman Theodore Te announce online that the 115th Bar Exam was administered to 3, 317 new candidates and 3, 514 retakers at the University of Santo Tomas (UST), Espana, Manila.
The announcement of BAR Confidant (OBC) last November 29, 2016 is that the 487 of the 6, 831 admitted candidates did not show up to complete the examinations. According to SC, examinees who did not proceed on succeeding exams were not required to explain their absence.
On Wednesday, a total of 3,747 out of 6,344 examinees passed the series of exams held at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Manila.
University of San Carlos graduate topped the bar with 89.05%.

Bar exams committee led by Associate Justice Prebitero Velasco Jr. has issued statement to deny the issue of an allegation of cheating. SC posted on Twitter, “There is no truth to unsubstantiated social media rumors”.
Bar Exam coverage: Political Law, Labor Law, Civil Law, Taxation, Mercantile Law, Criminal Law, Remedial Law, and Legal and Judicial Ethics. The standard passing grade of 75% was kept for the 2015 examinations. Section 14, Rule 138 of Revised Rule of Court stated that there should be no grade falling below 50% in any bar subject.
